Thats whats called “good 3d” 3d is shit when it just fires rockets and u and you try to grab them.. Avatar 3d was just… more up close and personal, instead of … rockets.

Yeah, I wish I saw it on the regular screen, but whatever. To me, movies are always about the characters. Here’s my generalization of movies. Great special effects: A major movie; Great Characters: Indie movie; a combination of the two mentioned: a blockbuster
I didn’t see it in IMAX. I still thought it was great, but Avatar gets whooped by The Dark Knight.
Avatar was an ‘ok’ movie. It does have a cliche storyline and I saw the 3-D IMAX version and it didn’t live up to the 3-D part. Basically, nothing fell out of the screen much.
In my opinion the latest Batman movies trump Spiderman, only because Batman doesn’t whine or cry in every film. lulz

It should have WON the best picture Oscar! God! Avatar was pretty good, but the new Batman movies and the first two Spider-Man’s are sooo much better! I gave Avatar like an 8.7/10.
@kedrick06 Avatar is a mediocre film…..besides,The Dark Knight wasn’t made for money…it was made to be the best superhero movie of all time….and one of the best films of the decade and also for at least a half dozen of Oscar statues including best picture….but you know the Academy are a bunch of liars and idiots

It was on a Swedish site, and I have trouble finding a similar announcement in English. The only thing I can find is on Internet Movie DataBase, called “Untitled Batman Project” (2011).
But we can all be calm, I know there will be a sequel, TDK was too much of a huge success for the producers to change characters or re-boot the franchise.
